Wade Hancock
DMD - General Dentist
Dr. Hancock was born and raised in Evanston, Wyoming. After high school, he served a mission for two years in the Dominican Republic, where he became fluent in Spanish.
He attended Utah State University. While attending college, he founded and managed several businesses. He then attended the University of Florida's College of Dentistry.
Throughout his career, he has been an active member of various community service, church, and dental mission trip organizations, as well as professional dental organizations.
Dr. Hancock is known for his gentle patient touch, ability to provide patients with multiple treatment options and thinking outside of the box when it comes to treatment plans. He is also trained in clear aligners and facial aesthetics.
He has 4 children and a loving partner. He speaks fluent Spanish and Portuguese. When not treating patients, he enjoys travel, outdoor activities, music, and time with his family.
Dr. Hancock is a member of the American Dental Association, West Coast Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, and the Pinellas County Dental Association and the Academy of Facial Esthetics. He participates in many continuing education classes to maintain knowledge of innovative technologies and procedures.
Cindy Brayer
DMD - General Dentist
Having practiced since 1999, Dr. Brayer is committed to offering her patients cutting-edge dental solutions with her experience in advanced laser dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, periodontics, and cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Brayer received her Bachelor of Science in business administration at the University of Florida in 1995, graduating with honors. After earning her Doctor of Dental Medicine at the University of Florida’s College of Dentistry in 1999, Dr. Brayer went on to complete her residency in general dentistry at the Veteran’s Administration in Gainesville, Florida.
In 2012, Dr. Brayer completed an Associate Fellowship in Laser Dentistry from the World Clinical Laser Institute. She was also named in The Florida Doctor Awards in 2012. Dr. Brayer also received the Vital’s Patients’ Choice Award in 2013 and was named one of America’s Top Dentists in 2014.
Dr. Brayer is a member of the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the West Coast Dental Association, the Florida Dental Association, and the Pinellas County Dental Association. She is actively involved in the American Academy of Clear Aligners (AACA), and participates in many continuing education classes to ensure her practice is incorporating the newest advances in the dental field.
Outside of work, Dr. Brayer stays busy at home in beautiful St. Petersburg with her husband and their three young children.

Cecilia D. Perera
DDS, MSD - Periodontist
Dr. Cecilia Perera is a seasoned and board-certified periodontist who brings a wealth of expertise to Sunset Family Dentistry. Graduating from Santa Maria University in Caracas, Venezuela, Dr. Perera pursued advanced studies at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, earning a Master's in Science of Dentistry with a focus on non-surgical periodontal therapy and statins.
With a passion for periodontics, Dr. Perera is a diplomate in Periodontics, showcasing proficiency in implant placement, bone grafting, and comprehensive treatment of periodontal diseases. Her commitment extends to addressing issues like addressing issues like recession, sinus augmentation, and extractions with precision.
Beyond the dental realm, Dr. Perera is a devoted family person, finding joy in spending time with her husband and son, who is currently in kindergarten.
As an avid traveler, Dr. Perera's family frequently explores new destinations, often gravitating towards the serenity of music, an integral part of her life, reflecting a past affiliation with a music group in her previous school years. Dr. Perera, in addition to dentistry, is a skilled dancer with a passion for flamenco. She obtained her dance skills under the guidance of the renowned Macarena.
Ly Ngo
DMD - General Dentist
Dr. Ly Ngo graduated from the University of South Florida with a Bachelor’s in Biomedical Physics and minors in Psychology and Medical Physics. She then went on to obtain her Master’s degree in Health and Medical Science and taught as an Adjunct Professor at Hillsborough Community College prior to attending dental school. To further her career, she completed the Doctorate program at LECOM School of Dental Medicine.
Dr. Ngo started her career providing care for underserved communities. She regularly volunteers at Mission of Mercy and RAM. Her mission is to help others and provide care with open and honest communication.
Dr. Ngo is a member of the American Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry. She actively maintains her license and education through various CE’s and hands-on courses with her focus on oral surgery and cosmetic dentistry.
In Dr. Ngo’s free time, she loves to cook, play tennis, and catch up on her TV shows. Along with spending time with her husband Alex, their new infant son and her dog Mia.
